From September 21st to 27th,our IB students from Forms 8 to 11 embarked on an enriching educational trip to Ladakh, designed to provide hands-on learning beyond the classroom.
They visited SECMOL School and the HIAL Campus, where they participated in campus tours and interactive sessions that showcased innovative learning practices.
Their journey continued from Leh to Nubra Valley, with visits to Phayang Monastery and the Hunder Sand Dunes, followed by an overnight stay at Diskit Village. Students also explored the Diskit Monastery, experienced the natural hot springs, and enjoyed homestays in Sumoor and Phyang. They engaged with the Village Lab Foundation, stargazed under Ladakh’s clear night skies, learned to make traditional Timok, and dressed in traditional Ladakhi attire.
This trip offered a perfect blend of culture, adventure, and experiential learning—broadening perspectives, fostering curiosity, and inspiring students to think beyond the classroom.
