Our MYP Year 3 students have embarked on a profound Service as Action initiative, inspired by their unit on Human Body Systems. Working collaboratively to raise awareness about the critical importance of organ donation, they have demonstrated incredible commitment and creativity under the mentorship of our Director, Dr. Saveetha Rajesh, and with the invaluable support of the MOHAN Foundation.

Through meticulous planning and teamwork, the students conceived and produced three compelling awareness projects:

A moving short film – Second Beat
A heartfelt original song – Power of Giving
A powerful skit – Angels of Change

Every aspect—from lyrics, scripts, and screenplay to direction and acting—was authentically crafted and executed by our students.

We were profoundly honoured to welcome Dr. Sunil Shroff, renowned urologist, transplant surgeon, and Founder & Managing Trustee of the MOHAN Foundation, as our Guest of Honour. His pioneering work and insights greatly enriched the programme.

We also extend our gratitude to Mrs. Hemal Kanvinde from the MOHAN Foundation, who provided dedicated guidance to our students throughout their journey.

Our Director, Dr. Saveetha Rajesh, graced the event, offering continual encouragement for this noble endeavour.

A highlight was the inspiring Life Deck session by Mr. Hariharan, who shared his personal experience as a kidney transplant recipient, receiving the gift of life from his father. His powerful story left a lasting impact on all attendees.

To honour their dedication, certificates were presented to each participating student, recognising them as true ‘Angels of Change’.

This campaign powerfully reminded us that organ donation is more than a decision—it is a legacy of life.
