Students of Form 8 and 9 from The Pupil International School embarked on an exciting Cultural Heritage trip to the Ajanta and Ellora caves from October 4th to 8th. With expert guidance from Mrs. Umayal Subramanian of Heritage India Trails, they gained deeper insights into the rich history and artistry of these UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
At Ajanta, the students explored the magnificent paintings and sculptures that narrate ancient stories. The following days were spent discovering Ellora’s awe-inspiring rock-cut caves, visiting the historic Daulatabad Fort, and marveling at the architectural beauty of Bibi Ka Makbara. The trip concluded with local shopping, adding a fun and memorable end to the adventure.
This cultural experience enhanced their understanding of our heritage and fostered a sense of pride in their roots. A heartfelt gratitude to Mrs. Umayal Subramanian and Mr. Rajaraman Pattabiraman for their insightful guidance and for providing an unforgettable experience! Looking forward to more such enriching experiences in the future!
