As part of the Unit of Inquiry under the theme “Who We Are,”  Form 1 students visited Victoria Memorial Blind School Poonamallee,on July 11th, 2025, to understand how individuals with different abilities live and learn.

They explored Braille books, tactile learning aids, and adapted sports tools, fostering empathy and awareness.

A special highlight was an inspiring guest lecture by the visually impaired Vice Principal, who spoke about adaptability, courage, and kindness. Her interaction helped students understand the value of inclusion and respect.

The experience strongly reinforced the IB learner profiles—caring, open-minded, and reflective—leaving a lasting impact on young minds.
