The Pupil International School celebrated Bastille Day 2024 with great enthusiasm. The event commenced with a special assembly, highlighting the historical significance of Bastille Day in French culture, with translations provided for clarity.
Students from Forms 1 to 8 engaged in art projects, crafting artworks and bookmarks inspired by Bastille Day themes. Forms 9 and 10 delivered informative presentations on the history and importance of Bastille Day, while Form 11 delved into the motto of France and the ideals of the French Revolution.
Additionally, classrooms featured a video showcasing fireworks around the Eiffel Tower, offering vibrant insights into French culture .This celebration enriched students’ understanding of French history and culture, fostering creativity and appreciation across all grades.
