We are proud to share that six students from our school participated in the Canadian Team Mathematics Contest (CTMC) 2025, an esteemed competition organized by the Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC), University of Waterloo, and hosted by K.C. High School on 12th April 2025.
The following students represented our School with great enthusiasm and dedication:
Ananth Krishnan – Form 9
Sai Meera – Form 10
Krishanth R V, Ajay, Steve Alex, and Vedhashree Vinoth – Form 11
The contest comprised three intellectually stimulating rounds:
Individual Round – where each student solved a set of 10 problems independently.
Relay Round – involving interconnected problem-solving in sub-teams.
Team Round – requiring collaborative effort to solve 25 challenging questions.
The event also included an insightful guest lecture titled “Fun with Numbers” by Prof. C.S. Karuppan Chetty, Former Head of the Department of Mathematics, NIT Trichy, which added depth and inspiration to the day.
This experience was an excellent platform for our students to sharpen their mathematical aptitude, foster collaborative learning, and interact with peers from various institutions. We commend their spirited participation and academic commitment.
