On 8th July 2025, the Form 3 students had the wonderful opportunity to attend a guest lecture by Dr. Shamili, a dental surgeon and horticulture therapy specialist, as part of their Unit of Inquiry – Sharing the Planet. The session began with an engaging question, “Where are we?”, prompting students to reflect on their place on Earth.

Dr. Shamili led an interactive discussion on the diversity of life, the vital role of plants, the importance of ecosystems, and the balance of the food chain. She emphasized the need to conserve natural resources and highlighted how small actions can make a big difference in protecting our planet.

The session concluded with an Earth song and a pledge taken by the students to care for and protect the environment. It was a truly inspiring and meaningful experience that beautifully connected classroom learning with real-world values of sustainability and global responsibility.
