We are delighted to share that Chithira Punaivu 2026, the Annual Art Exhibition of The Pupil School, was inaugurated on 25th February 2026 in the esteemed presence of our Guest of Honour, Bhagwan Chavan, an eminent artist whose inspiring words and artistic insights added great significance to the occasion.
The event was further honoured by the distinguished presence of Thota Tharani, acclaimed painter, art director, and production designer. Renowned for his exceptional contributions to the world of art and design, he spent over an hour thoughtfully exploring the students’ creations and warmly interacting with our young artists.
We were also privileged to welcome R. B. Bhaskaran, renowned Chennai-based contemporary Indian artist, educator, and former Chairman of the Lalit Kala Akademi. His gracious presence added immense value and inspiration to the exhibition.
The exhibition features over 3,500 exceptional artworks, showcasing the creativity, imagination, and dedication of our talented students. We were also pleased to welcome parents who visited the exhibition and appreciated the remarkable efforts of our young artists.
