Our DP1 and DP2 students visited Premavasam on 25th July 2025, a home for differently-abled and underprivileged children in Chennai, as part of their CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) journey in the IB Diploma Programme.
The day was filled with creativity, collaboration, and joy:
Food Fiesta: Funds raised by the DP2 students were used to purchase water bottles, chairs, books, and treats, all personally delivered during the visit.
Collaborative Painting: Students and children created bright, colourful artworks reflecting joy and unity.
Games & Sports: Football, cricket, and interactive group games sparked laughter and camaraderie.
Book Drive: Donations in English and Tamil supported the children’s learning and love for reading.
This experience beautifully embodied the three strands of CAS:
Creativity – Through painting and artistic expression
Activity – Through engaging play and collaborative efforts
Service – Through thoughtful donations and outreach
The visit was a moment of mutual growth, learning, and shared humanity. The smiles, conversations, and memories created will remain a lasting part of the students’ CAS journey.
