On 3rd September 2025, our Form 1 students attended an insightful guest lecture by Mr. Madhu Manikam, a passionate traveller. The session focused on landforms, with special emphasis on mountains — their formation, significance, and the ways people adapt to life in hilly regions.
Through vivid examples and real-life stories from Ladakh, he highlighted its lifestyle, agriculture, and settlements in the high-altitude cold environment. His engaging narration and visual descriptions made learning geography both interesting and meaningful.
The session enriched students’ understanding and inspired them to appreciate the diversity of landscapes and human settlements around the world.
