As part of The Pupil Lit Fest 2026, the celebrations commenced with a formal Inauguration Ceremony, setting the tone for a vibrant literary fest. This was followed by enriching Author Interaction Sessions, which provided students with valuable insights into the world of literature.
Ms. Anitha Bennett, a renowned author, inspired students to explore reading and writing with creativity, confidence, and enthusiasm. She spoke about the powerful impact of books on young minds, particularly when introduced during early childhood, and highlighted the role of reading in shaping imagination and lifelong learning.
Mr. Ashwin Prabhu shared his unique journey from careers in banking, IT, e-commerce, and teaching History and English to becoming a children’s author. He is currently authoring a series of books on Indian art and heritage for Tulika Books.
Ms. Praba Ram, a children’s author, emphasised the importance of inclusive and diverse narratives. She also encouraged students to express themselves through writing and storytelling, demonstrating how literature can foster empathy, understanding, and creativity among young readers.
The fest concluded with a meaningful Valedictory Ceremony, marking the successful completion of The Pupil Lit Fest 2026. Heartfelt congratulations to all the winners for their outstanding performances, and appreciation to every participant for their enthusiastic involvement and love for reading.
