Your privacy matters.
When you enquire about your child’s education, you place your trust in us. Here is how we handle the information you share through our website.
Who we are
This website, tpischool.in, is operated for The Pupil International School, #162/1, Masilamani Nagar, Senneerkuppam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600056, India. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the school.
If you have a question about how your information is used, email admission@thepupil.in.
What information we collect
When you submit an admissions enquiry, we receive the details you choose to provide, which may include:
- Your name, mobile or WhatsApp number and, if supplied, email address.
- Your child’s name, the programme or class of interest and intended academic year.
- Optional details such as current school, area, day-scholar or residential interest, and your questions.
- Enquiry source details such as the page visited, referral source and campaign identifiers, when available.
Our website and hosting providers may also process standard technical information needed to load, protect and maintain the site, such as browser and connection details.
How we use your information
We use enquiry information to respond to you, explain our programmes, answer your questions, arrange a school visit where requested, and guide you through the admissions process. We may also use limited technical information to maintain website security and understand which enquiry channels are working.
An enquiry does not automatically enrol your child. Any later application, assessment or enrolment may involve additional information and separate school processes.
Children and parental involvement
Our public admissions form is intended to be completed by a parent or legal guardian, not by a child. Please share only the details needed for your enquiry and avoid including sensitive medical or other personal records in the optional message field.
For any additional collection or use of a child’s information, the school will follow applicable requirements for parental authorisation and safeguarding.
When information is shared
Enquiries submitted through the school’s WordPress form are recorded in the website’s admissions enquiries area, with access restricted to authorised website administrators. Information may be shared internally with authorised admissions staff who need it to respond.
We may use hosting, website maintenance and other approved service providers to run the site and support school operations. These services may process information on our behalf where necessary. We do not disclose admissions details publicly.
About the current website form: The WordPress enquiry form does not itself send submissions automatically to WhatsApp, Google Sheets or email marketing tools. If the school adds integrations later, this policy should be updated to describe them.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry records for as long as reasonably needed to manage admissions discussions, meet applicable obligations and resolve related requests. Records that are no longer needed should be reviewed for deletion or secure disposal. You can contact us to ask about or request removal of an enquiry record.
Your choices and rights
You may ask what personal information we hold about you or your child, request a correction, withdraw consent where applicable, or request deletion of information that we are not required to keep. We will review requests in line with applicable law and the school’s legitimate obligations.
To make a request, email admission@thepupil.in with “Website privacy request” in the subject line.
How we protect information
We seek to protect admissions information through access restrictions and reasonable website administration and security practices. No online system can be guaranteed to be completely risk-free, so please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information through the enquiry form.
Questions about this policy?
Please contact The Pupil International School at admission@thepupil.in. We may update this notice as website features, school processes or legal requirements change. Any revised version will show a new update date.
