PYP Year 5 students visited the Fort St. George Museum, Chennai, on 31st January 2026 as part of their Unit of Inquiry under the theme Where We Are in Place and Time.
They explored fascinating artifacts such as coins, British officers’ uniforms, paintings, busts, and weaponry, gaining valuable insights into the colonial period and its lasting influence on India’s history.
Students also learned about the fort’s continued significance today, as it houses the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly and Secretariat.
The visit inspired them to be inquirers, thinkers, and reflective learners.
