“Together We Read, Together We Grow”

What happens when one voice reads and another listens?
A connection is created.

That is the heart of World Read Aloud Day (WRAD) 2026—a global celebration that highlights the power of reading aloud in building literacy, empathy, and meaningful communication.

To mark the day, our school brought together students from KG to Grade 12 in a special Buddy Reading Initiative, where senior students read aloud to their junior peers during a dedicated reading period.

This experience allowed younger students to engage with stories read with expression and warmth, while empowering senior students to develop confidence, leadership, and responsibility.

At The Pupil, we believe when stories are shared, understanding grows—and our school grows stronger together.
