The Pupil International School’s Annual Sports Day for the academic year 2026-27 was celebrated on 31st July with great enthusiasm and sporting spirit, bringing together the entire school community for a memorable celebration of fitness, teamwork, and perseverance.

The occasion was graced by our esteemed Chief Guest, Ms. Similal Singh, Deputy Chief Ticket Inspector, Southern Railway, former Indian National Volleyball Player and Pistol shooter whose inspiring presence motivated students to embrace excellence, discipline, and sportsmanship.

The programme commenced with the dignified Guard of Honour, prayer, welcome address, flag hoisting, and the spectacular March Past by the school houses, followed by the School Anthem, Olympic Torch ceremony, and Sports Oath.

The Founder Chancellor of SIMATS Group of Institutions, Dr. N.M. Veeraiyan, graciously honoured the occasion with his presence and officially declared the meet open.

Students showcased their talents through thrilling track events and captivating presentations, including the vibrant Football Fiesta by the PYP students, the graceful yoga demonstration, the energetic gymnastics display, and the disciplined Taekwondo showcase.

The enthusiastic participation of parents added warmth and excitement to the celebrations. The day concluded with prize distribution, vote of thanks, and the National Anthem, celebrating the true spirit of teamwork, resilience, and achievement.
