On July 5, 2025, Form 4 learners from The Pupil International School, accompanied by their facilitators, visited Sri Ramakrishna Math, Mylapore for a deeply reflective and enriching experience centered on mindfulness and values.
The day began with a calming guided meditation and chanting of shlokas, setting a peaceful tone. Learners then listened to an inspiring session by a monk, who emphasized the importance of being mindful, hardworking, kind, and respectful towards elders and gurus.
Students also explored the Math’s bookstore, gaining meaningful insights into the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda and Sri Ramakrishna.
This visit beautifully reinforced the IB concept of responsibility while nurturing the balanced, principled, and caring traits of the IB Learner Profile.
